Communicate your thoughts

The power of being able to communicate your thoughts?

Why do I mind map? What’s the benefits of this little discipline? Oops. I said a controversial word 😉 Discipline. Us dyslexics have been misunderstood and on the wrong end of discipline a lot in the history of schooling. Thankfully we no longer get the belt  but we do need discipline, but a type that matches our way of working. Mind mapping is an unlikely source of discipline. How do you discipline a wild horse? Wisely!

How does a mind map do that? In our course I explain how mind mapping forces us to use our natural talents towards creative thinking within a structured map. The mind map becomes like a ‘coach’. This video will explain how our minds are like “Zero Gravity Workshops”. This 6 minutes video literally blows people’s minds.

What I want to share with you is how mind mapping can actually transform a person who is locked in a world of disorganisation. Choosing to take a moment to visually place your thoughts down on paper helps dyslexics unlock their genius and deliver real results to the world.

This is no simple task for a dyslexic mind. A creative mind can be wild, disorganised, anxious, and can ramble on to try and find the right point to communicate. Our students are finding they now have a way of working that helps them organise their thoughts, be calm, tell great stories, write concise essays, express their ideas in a way people understand, plan realistic projects, figure out what to do next and, above all, GET THINGS FINISHED.
